For ALL the ABANDONED ANIMALS:
"The smartest animals on the planet", that's what humans claim to be. Yet:
Little animals I once owned, I was still too dumb to care about your needs.
I thought of me, and of myself, and of I, and not of you at all indeed.
So you became ill, and I did not care still.
I dumped you to die rather than fix the why.
We call you cold blooded, but YOU were always there and YOU always cared.
I wanted unconditional love, and you gave it to me, yet I threw you away and let a shallow
human stay.
They say that karma is a law which affects us all whether we believe in it or not.
Let us hope that this is so.
When the piper comes to call may I get my ever so richly deserved fall.
